El candidato del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) a gobernador de Puebla, Alberto Jiménez Merino, indicó que hará campaña en la zona del Triangulo Rojo, que se caracteriza por la extracción ilegal de combustible.
Dijo que no tiene nada que esconder y tampoco buscará algún tipo protección adicional para sus recorridos por los municipios del Triangulo Rojo, dejando en claro que el gobierno del estado de Puebla se encarga de las políticas de seguridad en estas elecciones.
Señaló que su compromiso es recorrer los 217 ayuntamientos que integran Puebla, donde presentará su propuesta de trabajo para alcanzar el nuevo comienzo que se necesita en el estado.
Jiménez Merino indicó que para la zona del Triangulo Rojo, que alberga municipios como Tepeaca, Palmar de Bravo, Huejotzingo, Quecholac, entre otros, tiene una estrategia para evitar que la población sea cómplice de quienes se dedican al robo ilegal de combustible.
