Metzquititlán, Hidalgo.- El incendio en San Agustín Metzquititlán fue el que más complicación tuvo, ya que duró dos días y afectó 10 hectáreas, sin embargo, no han sido registradas pérdidas humanas, por lo que Protección Civil (PC), en coordinación con municipios y autoridades ambientales, mantiene la alerta ante la actual temporada, informó el titular Jorge Arturo Lucio Suárez.
El subsecretario de PC dio a conocer que el incendio en ese municipio empezó el viernes, el sábado acudieron a apoyar a las labores de combate y fue hasta el domingo en la noche que quedó totalmente extinguido.
Sin precisar el número total de incendios registrados en la entidad, el funcionario estatal indicó que cuatro han sido de consideración, mientras que los demás solo fueron quemas de pasto.
“El incendio que se nos complicó dos días fue el de Metzquititlán, es el que trabajamos con Conafor, Semarnath, el ayuntamiento, algunas brigadas de pobladores, la subsecretaría estuvo dos días con 20 elementos y nos apoyó Caasim”, refirió.
Lucio Suárez exhortó a la población a tener precaución para evitar las conflagraciones, ya que muchos hacen sus quemas controladas pero no tienen el cuidado adecuado y se salen de control o porque queman basura y el viento hace que se propague el incendio.
“Estamos en alerta trabajando y capacitando constantemente a los 84 municipios y a la vez invitando tanto al comité de emergencias que sesionamos todos los jueves y a diferentes dependencias, tanto federales como municipales”, puntualizó.
