-La dependencia mantiene revisiones permanentes en el estado
En conjunto con la Policía Estatal de Vialidad, la Secretaría de Movilidad y Transporte (SMT) detuvo un total de 67 unidades durante 43 operativos realizados del 1 al 31 de agosto. De dicho número, cuatro fueron por invasión de derrotero, 19 por diversas irregularidades, 36 por ofrecer el servicio de taxi de manera irregular y ocho mototaxis.
Las supervisiones fueron hechas por la Dirección de Inspección y Vigilancia, de las cuales 35 fueron contra el pirataje y ocho por invasión de ruta en los municipios de Huauchinango, Tehuacán, Xicotepec, Chalchicomula de Sesma, Tetela de Ocampo, Puebla, Acatzingo, Atlixco, Zacatlán, Tepexi de Rodríguez, Tepeaca, Santiago Miahuatlán, Teziutlán, Tlatlauquitepec, Zacapoaxtla y San Andrés Cholula.
El titular de la dependencia, Guillermo Aréchiga Santamaría, puntualizó que los operativos forman parte de la política de cero tolerancia contra el transporte ilegal, que implementa el Gobierno del Estado para garantizar la seguridad de las y los usuarios.
A su vez, el responsable del área de Inspección y Vigilancia de la SMT, Eduardo Vergara López, destacó que de manera permanente se realizan revisiones en 21 delegaciones del estado, con el compromiso de contrarrestar los sitios de taxis piratas y la invasión de rutas, haciendo cumplir al transporte público y mercantil cumpla con las normas establecidas en la ley.
En el caso del transporte pirata, las unidades detenidas fueron trasladas al corralón para su aseguramiento, mientras que los conductores fueron puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público, conforme a lo que establece el artículo 190 Bis del Código Penal para el Estado de Puebla, y posteriormente fueron trasladados al C5 para su consignación.
