Por medio del Boletín electrónico Informativo No. 458, la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo informó que Adolfo Pontigo Loyola, rector de la entidad universitaria, atenderá un procedimiento fiscal ante la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público; el primer universitario fue llamado a comparecer por la cantidad de 487 mil 222 pesos mexicanos.
Pontigo Loyola aseguró que la conducta del rector ante estos escenarios debe de ser impecable: “Para la comunidad universitaria es fundamental dejar en claro que el Rector debe ser un ejemplo de atención a los requerimientos que hace cualquier tipo de autoridad y evitar confusión en el proceso jurídico que lleva la UAEH en torno a la liberación de cuentas”, enfatizó.
Por último, precisó que se trata de un tema personal sobre el pago de impuestos y verificación, procesos obligatorios para toda la ciudadanía que pertenece a la base de contribuyentes y totalmente ajeno a la máxima casa de estudios del estado de Hidalgo.
