Los hechos se registraron cerca de las 13:40 horas, en un taller de mofles en las inmediaciones del Mecado Hidalgo, de la Colonia 10 de Mayi, cuando sujetos armados dispararon en contra de los trabajadores del establecimiento.
En un primer momento falleció una de las víctimas, en tanto que dos personas más resultaron heridas, para que minutos después de disparar, los delincuentes escaparan con rumbo desconocido.
Al lugar llegaron elementos de las policías estatales y municipal, junto con elementos de la Fiscalía y paramédicos de SUMA. minutos después, falleció uno de los lesionados.
Al lugar también llegaron peritos y elementos del Ministerio Público para el levantamiento de cadáver y la apertura de la carpeta de investigación.
